So I regularly get contacted through PM's or specific threads about how to get the Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4 running on a PC with widescreen and a less amount bugs. Thus, I figured I might as well make a thread as a guide to it, especially when one considers the fact that Konami has completely mishandled the console HD collection with the.

I also add bilinear filter into the .dds textures.
I don't have abilities for remake the original textures, so if I continue the entire game will be different, and I don't know if this gonna be a good thing.
For me, the result looks good.
I really dislike low quality textures, so anything in HD looks great for me haha.
For who wants know, SH3 have a little more than 2000 textures.
And, the 'hd textures' from the 'HD collection' isn't really hd, most of them are resized to 1K and they apply a oil effect to them.

Xbox Silent Hill Hd Collection
If someone want know how I did:
1 - uMod_alpha_v2_r51 (other versions have crash)
2 - DX8 to DX9 convertor - ENBDev (d3d8.dll)
The best thing in Umod is that you can edit textures without reload the game.
Silent Hill Hd Collection Iso Software
Umod allow texture edit in real time. (right mouse button, click in 'reload')I just minimize the game, edit the texture, reload the Umod and maximize the game.
